1. General Notice
safeliance.AI is an AI-powered software solution designed for the intelligent processing, research, structuring, analysis, and output of information. Depending on its specific configuration, safeliance.AI may be operated locally, within a private cloud, or through the integration of external systems. The platform is specifically designed to utilize organization-specific data, documents, and knowledge bases.
The content, responses, analyses, summaries, recommendations, classifications, translations, or other outputs provided by safeliance.AI are generated, in whole or in part, through automated processes using artificial intelligence.
2. No Substitute for Human Review
The content generated by safeliance.AI is intended solely to support work, research, documentation, communication, and decision-making processes.
safeliance.AI does not replace professional, legal, technical, organizational, or any other form of expert human review on a case-by-case basis.
In particular, the outputs of safeliance.AI do not constitute, and are not a substitute for, individual legal advice, tax advice, business consulting, medical assessment, security auditing, or any other form of professional, case-specific evaluation.
3. Possibility of Erroneous Results
Notwithstanding careful configuration, data preparation, and continuous optimization, it cannot be excluded that safiliance.AI or the integrated AI models may produce erroneous, incomplete, misleading, outdated, biased, or factually incorrect results.
This applies particularly in cases of:
- ambiguous or incomplete inputs;
- unclear data landscapes;
- conflicting sources;
- unsuitable or incomplete document sets;
- changes to models, interfaces, or third-party systems;
- open-ended questions or complex, case-specific evaluations.
4. User’s Duty to Verify
All content, responses, recommendations, evaluations, summaries, classifications, translations, or other results provided by safeliance.AI must be verified by the user on an individual basis and at their own responsibility prior to use.
This applies specifically before:
- the publication or distribution of content;
- use in communication with clients, authorities, courts, or other third parties;
- use in decisions of a legal, economic, technical, or organizational nature;
- use in sensitive areas such as human resources, healthcare, law, administration, compliance, funding, security, or finance.
The responsibility for the actual use, approval, interpretation, and implementation of the content rests solely with the respective user or the deploying organization.
5. Disclaimer of Warranty regarding Accuracy and Suitability
No warranty or guarantee is provided regarding the factual accuracy, completeness, timeliness, consistency, or suitability of the content generated by safeliance.AI for any particular purpose.
In particular, there is no guarantee that:
- outputs will be error-free at all times;
- responses will be complete or legally binding;
- results will be suitable for a specific use case;
- all relevant information will be identified or taken into account;
- external or internal data sources will be complete, correct, or up-to-date at all times.
6. Limitation of Liability for Unverified Use
To the extent permitted by law, any liability for damages, disadvantages, or consequential damages arising from the user’s adoption, publication, distribution, or use of contents or results from safeliance.AI without prior verification is excluded.
This applies specifically to damages resulting from:
- erroneful or incomplete responses;
- hallucinations or incorrect inferences;
- misleading formulations;
- inaccurate summaries or classifications;
- translation errors;
- incorrect source references;
- the failure to exercise human oversight or approval.
Mandatory statutory liability provisions remain unaffected.
7. Data Sources and Third-Party Providers
Depending on the configuration, safeliance.AI may be connected to internal documents, knowledge bases, interfaces, external services, or large language models. The quality of the results depends significantly on the quality, timeliness, structure, and suitability of the data sources used, as well as the models and system settings employed. The safeliance.AI website explicitly describes this architecture as an on-premise/private cloud solution with connectivity to various models and data sources.
Insofar as external systems, APIs, models, or third-party services are integrated, their availability, behavior, quality of response, pricing structure, or terms of use may vary. We have no influence over these third-party elements.
8. Responsible Use of AI
The use of AI requires organizational, professional, and legal diligence. Users and deploying organizations must ensure that safeliance.AI is used only within the permitted and appropriate framework.
Where legal obligations for information, transparency, auditing, documentation, or training exist, these must be complied with by the respective operator or user at their own responsibility. The safiliance.AI website expressly refers to requirements relevant to the AI Act, such as transparency, risk analysis, and AI literacy.
9. Availability and Technical Changes
There is no entitlement to the uninterrupted, unaltered, or error-free availability of safeliance.AI, its individual functions, interfaces, modules, models, or integrations.
We reserve the right to implement technical developments, adjustments, model changes, changes to retrieval mechanisms, user interfaces, system components, or security measures, provided that the essential purpose of use is not unreasonably impaired.
10. Data Protection and Data Sovereignty
safiliance.AI is designed for data-sovereign use. Depending on the operating model, data may be processed locally, in a private cloud, or in a controlled manner via external systems. The website explicitly emphasizes this privacy-oriented architecture.
Regardless, prior to any production use, it must be verified which data protection, organizational, and technical requirements apply to the specific use case.
The Privacy Policy of the website shall apply supplementally.
11. Precedence of Individual Agreements
In the event that separate contracts, offers, service descriptions, or General Terms and Conditions (GTC) have been agreed upon for individual services, projects, implementations, training, testing, hosting, or support services, these provisions shall take precedence over this Usage Notice within the respective scope of application.
